Welcome to the Indiana Boys Volleyball Coaches Association

______________________________________________________________________________

"On behalf of the Association, welcome to the most exciting time in Indiana boys volleyball history! Since our founding in 1994, this community has grown into over 100 high school programs and introduced thousands of athletes to the game we love. The 2023 season is monumental for the IBVCA, as it is our first official season as an IHSAA Emerging Sport - we are on our way to becoming a sanctioned high school sport across the entire state. It is an honor to help guide this organization in such a fun time. I look forward to seeing all of the incredible things that the Board of Directors and membership accomplish over the next few years as we continue to make history for boys volleyball in Indiana."  -Kristen Webster, IBVCA President

The Indiana Boys Volleyball Coaches Association was established in 1994 to allow the opportunity for boys in Indiana to play the fabulous sport of volleyball. Mel Young of Richmond High School in Richmond, Indiana wanted to start “something special for the boys.” The people who knew and loved Mel realized that once a goal took hold of his head and heart, the dream of boys volleyball was going to come true.  To learn more about Mel Young, click here.
