The IHSAA recognized boys volleyball as an emerging sport in 2023, and voted to sanction boys volleyball as a varsity tournament sport in 2025. Underneath IHSAA supervision, the IBVCA defaults to all organizational guidelines for sport management, coach and athlete conduct, sportsmanship, etc. You can access key IHSAA resources and materials below.
