The IBVCA uses the same regional affiliations across the state as the IHSAA, with the minor addition of an East/West division.
The current map overlays the IHSAA Districts with two regional areas - East and West. The vertical division is US Highway 31 to the North and Interstate 65 to the South. These six regions represent geographic connections and should be, for the most part, consistent with existing athletic conference boundaries.
Each region has a direct point of contact on the Board of Directors, and the alignments provide natural groupings for IBVCA post-season award processes like All-Region.
